Stormlane is a small startup born out of years of getting burned out while working numerous high level tech roles in the corporate sector over the last two decades. I finally had enough of seeing huge opportunities being missed, technology stagnating, and red tape within the corporate structure. This is truly a "put up or shut up" venture because I have thought I could do things so much better if I were the decision maker, so I'm creating the chance to do exactly that with my own business. Either I really do have a better way of doing things, or the old guard of corporate technology, leadership, and training has been right all along. We're going to find out, and I would love the opportunity to bring my expertise and experience to your business. My sincerest promise is that Stormlane will work tirelessly to get you to where you want to be. We don't know any other way of operating.
We exist to make you better. Our approach isn't to keep charging you for future navigation. Our approach is to give you the tools and techniques to steer your own ship. We believe that the norms of technology training and advising over the last couple decades have become antiquated and right now is the perfect time for a course correction. Small businesses can no longer afford to spend weeks or months on a waiting list for third party experts. That amount of lead time creates bottlenecks and missed opportunities. Businesses need to be as technologically agile as the market demands meaning they need to have expert capabilities ready at all times. That is what Stormlane does. We make experts out of your already existing team so they can create and execute plans internally without having to wait for outside expertise.
Currently, Stormlane is solely focused on advising, training, and project management of on-prem-to-cloud based business solutions. Much more to come in the future. I have spent years in multipurpose advisory roles from being an implementation and migration expert to ingesting vendor-based, global footprint teams bringing them in-house with strict contractual timelnes. I am also a certified Project Manager and have successfully completed dozens of projects ranging from a few users within a single department to over 100,000 users during global domain consolidations. My most recent project success was migrating my local government's email system from on-prem to M365 for approximately 1200 accounts.
On the business side of things, we want our services to pay for themselves. The money you save or generate in operating with increased efficiency, productivity, and overall agility should more than make up for the costs of our services or we just aren't doing our job right. On he people side of things, those who we advise and train are intentionally instilled with a high level of self-sufficiency that carries on throughout their careers. We want to increase the knowledge and capability for the professional IT landscape. Our methods have been proven as numerous trainees and advisees have even gone on to executive roles which we firmly believe comes from the strong foundational knowledge we impart.
